You knew retirement would be great! It’s been three months, and last week you called Jerry and said, “Hey, Jerry, you ought to think about retiring. I think my blood pressure is finally normal.”
You found out that getting a couple of extra hours of sleep really does make you feel energized. Not putting on that shirt and tie - fabulous! After all, Susan just said you look younger with all this relaxation, and you do look good in your shorts!
Great job on catching up with things around the house you had put off. You rearranged your office and went through your desk drawers. You discovered those tools in the garage you thought were missing. Maybe you’ll finally build that dollhouse for the grandkids. What about those books on the nightstand? Turns out that your favorite author has written two more novels since you bought the last one. Although the best is the coffee story! Let’s face it - you have become a real barista! You are the go-to guy for advice on brands, beans, and even whether to use pods or drip. It wasn’t even that hard.
Yesterday, when you decided to take a peek at some of those ‘streaming’ shows on Netflix and Amazon that everyone is always talking about, you found out that there are also National Geographic videos about the national parks on YouTube. Maybe you should you make a tv schedule?
If you just found that you can hardly wait to explore the National Geographic channel on YouTube, turn to page 4.
If you decide that going places and seeing things in real life is better than watching them on YouTube, turn to page 7.
