Well, that’s all the travel for now. Ok, you crossed those places off your bucket list. What now? You start to look longingly at the couch and the new streaming stations that bring old and new shows back to the tv. But, after the excitement of travel, you know that is not who you are.
So, who are you?
You remember how you felt as a young adult just starting out. You know you had the drive and the focus. Now, what to do? You start to think about what you are good at. Remember those tools in the garage? You look at the table you refinished that has a lot of stories to tell and still looks great. Then, there is that dollhouse. What else? You were a really good boss at the agency. You guided more people along the path to success than anyone else. You still have good ideas. You begin to wonder about opportunities out there. You decided to call your friend Jeff who works in the business school over at the community college. You offered to mentor some of the students.
Congratulations! You got this!
Your first big retirement leap may not be your last. As you discover new interests and explore old passions your firsts and lasts may just keep coming. If any of those transitions start to feel more overwhelming than exciting, be sure to give me a call. We can walk through your thoughts together.
